Overview of the service
The Public Notice Register is a register maintained by the Legal Register Centre (LRC) under its statutory obligation. Its purpose is to increase the publicity and timeliness of public notices, improve access to information, and thereby helps the protection of creditors’ interests. The Public Notice Register is available to everyone through an information search service published on the open network. The register publishes, among other things, notices from district courts, enforcement authorities, and the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH). These include, for example, public summonses issued by district courts and trade register authorities, as well as information published by enforcement authorities regarding the sale of seized property. There are approximately 35 different types of notices in the register.
An API to the Suomi.fi Data Exchange Layer has been published for the Public Notice Register. Customers who join the API can make queries from the register through their own information systems. As a rule, the service is available round the clock (24/7/365). The information in the register is available in Finnish and Swedish.
Activating the service
API customers are responsible for the deployment of the Suomi.fi Data Exchange Layer and liable for any costs they incur from its use, as well as for the development and maintenance costs of their own information systems. A yearly fee is charged for the use of the API in accordance with the Legal Register Centre’s fee decision.

API customers must apply for a data permit from the Legal Register Centre before putting their API into production. A data permit can be granted to those who need the information for debt notifications or other creditor rights protection purposes. The data permit application specifies, among other things, the customer’s/register holder’s contact details (e.g. for possible API changes and information about changes in the register's data content) as well as an estimate of the customer's query numbers (e.g. for assessing service capacity needs). APIs
The Suomi.fi Data Exchange Layer includes test and production environments for the Public Notice Register. The sub-system name is ORK-KURE-Service, and the REST API functions of the interface are described in OpenApi.yaml format.
